Electrical Engineering

Anderson’s electrical engineering team designs systems that support how facilities operate today and adapt for tomorrow. From existing-condition assessment and utility coordination through construction, we focus on reliability, maintainability, energy efficiency, and the customer experience.

Electrical Solutions Built Around the Facility – Every electrical system is connected to the way a building operates. We begin by understanding the facility, the people it serves, and the owner’s priorities. Our engineers translate those needs into coordinated power, lighting, life-safety, and technology infrastructure that can be constructed, operated, and maintained with confidence.

Project Development and Existing Conditions

Successful renovation and infrastructure projects start with an accurate understanding of existing conditions. Our team reviews available records, investigates field conditions, evaluates load information, and coordinates with the serving utility. When appropriate, LiDAR scanning, 3D modeling, and coordinated BIM help document the facility and reduce surprises during design and construction.

We identify system constraints, phasing requirements, shutdowns, temporary power needs, and long-lead equipment early so the owner can make informed decisions before they affect the schedule or budget.

Power, Lighting, and Building Systems Design

Our electrical designs balance performance, safety, constructability, and long-term value. We coordinate closely with the owner, utility, architect, engineers, and specialty systems so the final documents reflect how the entire facility must work together.

Project Delivery and Construction Support

A technically correct design must also be clear, coordinated, and buildable. Our electrical team manages scope, schedule, budget, and quality throughout the project. During construction, we support the owner and contractor through submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, system changes, and startup or commissioning coordination.

Our approach is grounded in communication. By maintaining strong working relationships and addressing issues early, we help keep projects moving and protect the owner’s operational needs.
